Before you upload anything to PlotProse or Book Ad Pack, here's exactly what happens to it — no fine print, no hedge words.
We read it once, to build what you ordered.
Book Ad Pack reads your full manuscript once — that's how it builds your ad copy, casting, and creative from what's actually in your book, not a guess from your blurb. We do not use your manuscript to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any AI model. This is a deliberate, one-time processing step to fulfill your order, not an ongoing use of your work.
You opt in, not out: uploading is a decision you make to get your pack built. There is no "used unless you object" default anywhere in this pipeline.
Your manuscript text and AI training verified
Anthropic's Claude reads your manuscript to build your pack, and Anthropic's own commercial terms confirm your content is not used to train their models. That part of the promise is verified, not just asserted.
Some of the image and video generation in your pack currently runs through vendor plans (Higgsfield) whose standard terms permit model training on generated content, unless we're on an enterprise agreement with that vendor. We are working to move that generation onto no-training terms and will update this line the moment it's done — we would rather tell you the honest, narrower truth today than promise something we haven't verified for every step of the pipeline.
Deleting your manuscript by request, while we build the self-serve version
Ask us to delete your manuscript and the files we derived from it (casting notes, scene breakdowns, generated drafts), and we will — today that's a manual step our team does by hand, not yet an automatic one-click. We're building the self-serve version; until it ships, contact us and we'll confirm once it's done.
What we generate, we tell you.
Every image, video, and line of ad copy in your pack is AI-assisted, and your order dashboard labels it that way — we don't pretend otherwise to you. We're also working on carrying that same disclosure through to the files themselves (so the AI-assist history travels with the asset, not just sits in your dashboard) — that piece is in progress, and this page will say so plainly the day it ships.
Compatible with the Authors Guild Human-Authored certification
That certification covers your manuscript's body text — and that's exactly the part we never touch for training or generation beyond the one read to build your pack. Holding it and using Book Ad Pack for marketing aren't in conflict.
