Brand, Pen Name & Niche — Week 1▾
Park your old pen name. Pen name choice is a marketing decision: it sets you up before you write a word. Pick a goal (sustainable income, rankings, letters, or hobby), choose your lane, and lock the niche. End of week 1 the Pluckrose pre-made cover store opens in your niche — $20–$30 customised covers from Coral’s cover designer Greg.
Lead Magnet, Book 1 & Mailing List — Week 2▾
Write Book 1 (the lead magnet) using AI in a week. Set up BookFunnel, BookClicker, your mailing list, and start swaps. Every email address has a $20–$50 lifetime value per series — you’re buying readers, not giving books away.
Pre-Order, Book 2 & Swap Stacking — Week 3▾
Book 2 launches two weeks after the lead magnet at $2.99. Pre-order goes up. 50–100 swaps a day. Book 3 written and edited so its pre-order goes up alongside Book 2. The momentum stack.
Production Blueprint & Going Forward — Week 4▾
Six-book backlist achieved, then slow to one release every 28 days per pen name. Translations and virtual voice. Trope continuity across series. Six+ live sessions plus weekly check-ins with Coral throughout the month — the repeatable production system you’ll run for every pen name from here.

Before you book, the quick stuff…

Is What’s The Plot a prerequisite?▾
It’s a good idea but not required. Launchpad uses What’s The Plot as the writing system, so taking it first will help — but you can join Launchpad without it. You’ll find What’s The Plot on the workshops page if you want to add it.
Is this for total beginners?▾
No. Launchpad expects committed authors with a brand to build. You don’t need to be published, but you do need to be willing to show up, do the work, and treat this as a business — not an experiment.
How does AI fit into the process?▾
AI is the ghostwriter; you are the creative director, editor, and publisher. Coral teaches the prompts and the system across Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini so you can scale at speed without sounding generic.
Three books in one month — is that really possible?▾
Yes. Coral has run Launchpad for ten years — previously over three to six months. With AI, the same system completes in a month if you do the work. Royalties pay 60–90 days out, so realistic earnings start months three to six.
Is this for fiction or non-fiction?▾
Designed for fiction authors. The brand, mailing list, and production systems apply to both, but the writing examples are fiction-led.
