1. Who we are

PlotProse is a digital training and resources brand owned and operated by Coral Hart (trading from the Republic of South Africa). When these Terms refer to “PlotProse,” “we,” “us,” or “our,” we mean PlotProse / Coral Hart. When they refer to “you,” we mean the person placing an order, creating an account, or using the site at plotprose.com.

2. Acceptance of these terms

By placing an order, creating an account, or accessing any PlotProse product or service, you confirm you are at least 18 years old and that you accept these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

3. What we sell

PlotProse offers three kinds of product:

• Author Training — live workshops, classes and recorded courses taught by Coral Hart.
• Pre-Made Outlines & AI Creation Kits — plot frameworks, scene beats, trope maps and AI prompt kits delivered as digital downloads.
• Skip-the-Draft Packages — near-complete romance manuscripts (approximately 90% drafted) together with a cover, blurb and launch plan, sold as a single package to a single author.

Additional services such as the Inner Circle subscription and the Level-Up Lab mentorship are sold on a recurring basis; their specific terms are described on their product pages at the time of purchase.

4. Pricing and payment

Prices displayed on the site are inclusive of applicable South African taxes. We bill through our South African payment gateway in South African Rand (ZAR). Any US-dollar price shown alongside a product is a reference equivalent only — your card will be charged in ZAR and your bank will convert at its prevailing rate. You are responsible for any fees or currency conversion charges your bank applies.

5. Digital delivery

All PlotProse products are delivered digitally. On successful payment we send a confirmation email with download links and, where applicable, your Google Drive folder and live-class access details. Delivery is immediate for most products; live workshops grant access to the scheduled Zoom session plus a permanent recording added to your account after the class. If you have not received your order email within 30 minutes, please reply to that email or contact [email protected].

6. License and the “sold-once” rule

The following applies to every Pre-Made Outline, AI Creation Kit, Skip-the-Draft Package, workshop recording, and digital download purchased from PlotProse:

• You receive a perpetual, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the material for your own commercial authorship, including writing, publishing and selling books derived from it under your own author name.
• Skip-the-Draft Packages and Pre-Made Outlines are sold once. Once purchased, the package is removed from sale and marked as sold. No other author will ever receive the same package from us.
• You may not resell, redistribute, share, sublicense, or repackage the raw PlotProse material itself. You may, of course, sell and profit from the finished book you write from it.
• Workshop recordings, templates and accompanying PDFs are for your individual use and may not be shared with or resold to other authors.

7. Subscriptions (Inner Circle, Level-Up Lab, and similar)

Subscription products renew automatically on the cadence stated on the product page (monthly unless otherwise noted). You may cancel at any time from your account dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain access until that period ends. We do not issue pro-rated refunds for part-used subscription periods.

8. Live workshops & classes

Live classes are held via Zoom (or equivalent video platform) at the date and time stated on the product page, in South African Standard Time (SAST). Each class is recorded and made available to registered students after post-production, usually within 72 hours, via the class Google Drive. If technical issues prevent a class from running, we will re-run it and email you the new date. Occasional last-minute changes happen; we will always give you as much notice as we can.

9. Refunds

Refund terms vary by product type and are set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

10. Account responsibilities

If you create an account at PlotProse, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for everything that happens on your account. Please let us know immediately if you suspect someone else is using your account.

11. Intellectual property

All content on plotprose.com — including but not limited to text, images, videos, logos, templates, workbooks, outlines, and Coral Hart’s name and likeness — is owned by PlotProse / Coral Hart or licensed to us. Purchase of a product grants you only the license described in Section 6; it does not transfer any underlying intellectual property rights.

12. Acceptable use

You agree not to (a) attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or to other users’ data; (b) use PlotProse material to train a machine-learning model intended to replicate Coral Hart’s voice or style; (c) upload harmful code or attempt to disrupt the service; or (d) use the site for any unlawful purpose.

13. Third-party services

PlotProse uses reputable third parties to deliver our service, including (but not limited to) WordPress, WooCommerce, MailerLite, Google Workspace, Zoom, and our payment gateway. Each of those parties operates under its own terms and privacy practices; we recommend reviewing them if you are concerned.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlotProse’s total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or any product purchased is limited to the amount you actually paid for the product in question in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, punitive or lost-profit damages. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act of South Africa (where it applies) or any other non-excludable consumer right.

15. Disclaimers

PlotProse provides training and resources to help you write and publish commercial fiction. We do not guarantee any particular sales, income, ranking, readership or outcome from your use of our products. Publishing is variable. Your results will depend on your work, your market, and factors outside either party’s control.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. If we make a material change we will notify existing account holders by email.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising out of them will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cape Town, South Africa.
