The messy middle

The writing was never the hard part

You can write a novella. What eats your week is everything between “The End” and launch day — and the second-guessing that comes with it.

🌀

Prompt overwhelm

Ten browser tabs of “best prompts,” none of which fit where you actually are in the book.

🤖

Generic AI voice

You get prose that reads like every other AI romance — flat, samey, and not yours.

📉

Launch guesswork

Blurb, keywords, a 14-day plan… you cobble it together and hope it lands.

The fix

Seven skills. One install. Zero prompts to memorize.

This bundle installs seven skills into Claude at once. Each one wakes up on its own when you say something related to it — so you talk to Claude the way you’d talk to an editor, and the right tool steps forward at the right moment.

What you get

Your seven skills, in order

Each takes over one stage of the book and hands the next one everything it needs.

1

Outline the Book

novella-beat-sheet

Turns your premise, tropes, and word-count target into a full beat-by-beat outline sized to your book — so every scene has a job before you write a word of it.

Say this to Claude“Outline my novella — [premise], [tropes], [word count target].”

You walk away with: a complete beat sheet, ready to hand straight to the drafting skill.

Pro tip: Give it real specifics. “Grumpy small-town sheriff, sunshine baker, one bed, fake dating, 25K words” beats “small town romance” every time.

2

Draft the Manuscript

short-read-drafter

Drafts your full novella (or an entire series) from the beat sheet — voice-sampled first, so the prose sounds like you, not generic AI romance.

Say this to Claude“Draft my novella from this beat sheet.”

You walk away with: a complete first-draft manuscript.

Pro tip: Check the voice sample and make changes when it asks. The closer the voice sample, the less line-editing you’ll do later.

3

Get the Developmental Edit

short-read-dev-edit

A full editorial pass: a Dev Edit Report, a chapter-by-chapter Revision Guide with before/after examples, and a KDP Metadata Sheet (blurb, keywords, categories).

Say this to Claude“Run a developmental edit on my manuscript.”

You walk away with: a prioritized revision plan, plus your Amazon backend metadata already drafted.

Pro tip: Run this before you touch a single line yourself. The Revision Guide tells you exactly what to fix and in what order.

4

Execute the Revisions

short-read-revision

Takes the dev edit’s revision plan and rewrites the manuscript chapter by chapter — fixing what’s flagged, keeping your voice and your rough edges intact.

Say this to Claude“Revise my manuscript using this revision plan.”

You walk away with: a structurally solid second draft.

Pro tip: Feed it the dev edit’s actual Revision Guide, not just “make it better.” It’s built to preserve your voice on purpose.

5

Line & Copy Edit

short-read-line-edit

Polishes the prose sentence by sentence, cleans up mechanics, and produces a style sheet so word choices and formatting stay consistent start to finish.

Say this to Claude“Line edit my manuscript.”

You walk away with: a publication-ready manuscript, plus a style sheet.

Pro tip: Run this last, after structural revisions are locked — line-editing a manuscript that’s still changing shape just means doing the work twice.

6

Write the Blurb

blurb-architecture-builder

Builds your Amazon description using the five-part Hook → Character + World → Conflict + Tension → Stakes → Closing Hook structure, formatted in Amazon-ready HTML.

Say this to Claude“Write the blurb for my novella.”

You walk away with: a conversion-focused blurb, ready to paste into KDP.

Pro tip: Let it use the dev-edit metadata sheet — the hook lands harder when the blurb and the book agree on what the story is about.

7

Plan the Launch

launch-week-timeline-builder

Generates a custom 14-day launch countdown — daily tasks, swap targets, newsletter slots, social posts, paid-promo schedule — sized to how many hours you actually have.

Say this to Claude“Build my 14-day launch plan.”

You walk away with: a day-by-day launch calendar you can just follow.

Pro tip: Tell it the truth about your available hours. A plan built for the week you actually have is the one you’ll finish.

Questions

Good to know

Do I need to know how to prompt?

No. That’s the whole point. Each skill triggers on plain language — you tell Claude what stage you’re at (“outline my novella,” “line edit my manuscript”) and the right skill takes over. The booklet gives you the exact phrases if you want them.

What do I need to run it?

A Claude account and the ability to install a plugin (the booklet walks you through it, step by step). If you can open a file, you can install this.

Will the writing sound like AI?

The drafter voice-samples first, so the prose is built to sound like you. And you still run the dev edit, revision, and line-edit skills on top — the same passes a human author would do.

Can I install just some of the skills?

Yes. You get the all-in-one .plugin file and the seven skills individually, so you can install the whole pipeline at once or add them one at a time.

How do I get my files?

After checkout you get instant access inside your private members area. Your download links are personal to your account and time-limited — so you’re always downloading the latest version.

Does it work for a whole series?

Yes — the drafter is built to handle a full novella or an entire series from the beat sheet.

One bundle. Every skill. Novella success.

Stop stitching prompts together between chapters. Install once, and take your next short-read from blank page to launch day.
