After 32 books back-to-back, Coral burnt out hard enough to take 18 months off. The Perfect Year Plan is what she built after — a publishing year mapped to creative cycles and seasonal reader behaviour, not profit-maxing. Sustainable. Actually doable. Built around how readers buy, not when you finish writing.

What We’ll Cover

The live session breakdown

Human First — Map Your Creative Cycle
Stop fighting your own rhythm. Identify your high-energy and recovery windows, set boundaries (Coral’s office door closes Friday lunchtime), and build a schedule that works with ADHD and circadian reality — not against them.
Reader Behaviour Calendar (the 365-Day Sales Map)
January is a binge month (Goodreads challenge, new Kindles, KU). Dec 26–31 is one of the highest KU windows of the year (Stuff Your Kindle, Romance Book Blast). February is romance peak. March–May is bread-and-butter. Plan releases against when readers actually buy.
Marketing Rhythm — Mon Visibility, Wed Content, Fri Conversion
Coral’s weekly marketing system across 20 pen names. One backlist book promoted per week. Two newsletters. One social touchpoint (or none, if it’s not your strength). Bi-weekly review. Repeatable, not exhausting.
Backlist as Asset — Earning Without New Releases
Every backlist book is on your asset register. The less you release, the more marketing you do. Seasonal pushes, free book one funnels, swap stacks, KU free days — how Coral’s non-AI backlist earned six figures in 2025 without a single new book on those pen names.

What You’ll Walk Away With

By the end of the live session…

A 12-month publishing calendar mapped to your creative cycle, not someone else’s

A reader behaviour map (Jan binge, Feb romance peak, Dec 26–31 KU window) you plan releases against

A weekly marketing rhythm you can actually keep without burning out

A backlist activation plan that earns while you’re not writing new books

Permission, in writing, to throw a book in the “fuck-it bucket” if it’s costing you your health

Frequently Asked

Before you book, the quick stuff…

Is this a single session or spread over days?
Three live days. Day 1 is the human-first foundations and creative cycle work. Day 2 is the publishing calendar. Day 3 is the marketing and backlist system. You leave with a finished plan.
Do I need to already be published?
No — whether you’re planning your first year or your fifteenth, the workshop maps the year against reader behaviour, not catalog size.
Are there recordings?
No. This is a live, attend-once experience. The value is in showing up, doing the work in real time, and getting live feedback from Coral and the group.

From the Live Workshop

In Coral’s Own Words

“I’m going to go into detail about marketing and creating a marketing plan that works for you — not just for your books, but for you as well. It’s important.”

— Coral Hart, live teaching

“When we know that publishing cycle, it does take us a little bit longer to make the publishing plan as well — but we’re going to keep the algorithm really happy with your release windows.”

— Coral Hart, live teaching
